Mr. Avey is a high-level business infrastructure, strategy, and process systems consultant. He specializes in solving and managing complex technology, organizational and business infrastructure issues.

Mr. Avey has over twenty years of technical and management experience in a wide range of industries. He has worked with both start-ups and Dow 30 corporations.  He has also worked with over 40 state and local government entities, as well as the University of Minnesota, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Mr. Avey’s unique capabilities in the areas of team building and mentoring, leadership, creative vision, strategic problem solving, and rapid systems analysis enable him to assist organizations in maximizing profits, streamlining processes, and identifying business opportunities.

Mr. Avey is an expert facilitator, project manager, and coach. He has been published in over a dozen periodicals including Chief Executive Magazine where his article, Building a People-Centered Culture in a Digital-Age Environment, was featured as the CEO challenge of the month. Other publications include Employee Benefit News and American Management Association’s Manage! Magazine.

Mr. Avey’s technical skills range from Application and Web Development to large ERP and Enterprise package implementations.   He is also a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence expert.

Awards:

In December 2004, Mr. Avey received a recognition award from the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Commerce for his role in identifying strategies for redesigning the energy assistance program. In 1989 he earned “The Healing Touch” award for his work in the Health Care field. Mr. Avey was also the first outside consultant to receive a quality recognition award from Cargill.
